Job Title: Freelance Vector Icon Designer

Job Type: Freelance/Contract

Location: Remote

Compensation: USD 15 - 20 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Design custom vector icons that align with our brand guidelines and overall aesthetic.
• Create icons for various categories, including but not limited to [mention specific categories, e.g., technology, communication, user interface elements].
• Deliver icons in multiple formats (PSD, Sketch)
• Ensure all icons are scalable and maintain clarity at various sizes.
• Collaborate with our design and development teams to understand icon requirements and iterate on designs based on feedback.
• Maintain consistency in style and quality across all icons.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vector Icon Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing icon sets.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of vector graphics and the ability to create icons that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
• Attention to detail and a strong eye for design, layout, and typography.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow while maintaining communication with the team.
• Familiarity with design trends and best practices for icons in digital products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in desiging vector icons for websites.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and how they apply to icon design.
• Previous work experience with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers.
