Job Description:

As a Django Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a Django-based RSS feed reader application. You will work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a scalable and efficient RSS feed reader application using Django as backend

• Build Web app using front end stack

• Design and implement APIs for mobile applications and other external integrations.

• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application, particularly with a large number of feeds and users.

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices.

• Implement data storage solutions, including database schemas and models to efficiently handle large volumes of RSS feed data.

• Manage the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the application on various platforms.

• Ensure the security and integrity of the application, including protection against common security vulnerabilities.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, ensuring smooth operation of the application.

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Django Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications developed using Django.

• Proficiency in Python, with deep knowledge of Django framework and its ecosystem.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and building APIs for mobile and web applications.

• Experience with frontend stacks such as React, Vue and Angular

• Experience with bootstrap or Tailwind CSS frameworks

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.

• Strong understanding of database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and data modeling.

• Experience with web server deployment and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Heroku, etc.).

• Knowledge of web scraping and working with RSS/Atom feeds is highly desirable.

• Understanding of security principles and how to apply them to web applications.

• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
